MAGICAL WEEKENDS OF SEASONAL SHOPPING!

As the festive season approaches, the Genuine Jersey Simply Christmas Markets will be making a return to the historic Royal Square, with kind permission of the Bailiff, kicking off on Thursday, 21 November, for three magical weekends of seasonal shopping and entertainment.

John Garton, Chief Executive of Genuine Jersey, shared his enthusiasm for the event: ‘We absolutely love the Genuine Jersey Simply Christmas Markets; they’re a highlight of the year for us! One of the most rewarding aspects of Markets is the opportunity to connect directly with the creators behind the products across the three four-day weekends. As you wander through the stalls, you can chat with the local artisans who have spent countless hours perfecting their craft. Many of our Members have been working for months—some even since last Christmas—to create beautiful products for this event.

‘These markets wouldn’t be possible without the support of our sponsors, Signtech CI, the Government of Jersey and this year we’re delighted to welcome Jersey Mutual into the fold. Their collective backing allows us to continue to offer this fantastic platform for our members and also keep the costs to them as low as possible.’

This year, the markets will feature over 60 talented local artisans and producers throughout the three weekends, offering an array of festive gifts, delicious treats, and handcrafted treasures. Visitors will be able to explore a labyrinth of stalls brimming with festive magic, all while enjoying the unique creations of Jersey’s finest craftspeople.

In addition to the wide range of stalls, there will be hot food, drinks, and live entertainment featuring local musicians throughout the weekends. The markets are the perfect place to discover unique, locally made gifts while enjoying the festive atmosphere in the heart of St Helier.

The Markets will be open:-

Thursday 21 Nov, 28 Nov & 5 Dec           10:00 – 20:00 (late night shopping in St Helier)
