Information for the captions was obtained with the kind help of Derrick Frigot, author of two invaluable works of Jersey’s farming history: Jersey’s Rural Heritage and Pioneers of the Jersey Breed.
The kind assistance of the JEP, Jersey Heritage, the Jersey Archive, the RJA&HS and Mr Frigot is gratefully acknowledged.
