The president of the Jerseu Gardening Club, Marilyn Le Beurrier introduces the last club function of the year – a Quiz Night – on 19 November
We hope to see you at our last club fixture for 2024, a Quiz Night on Tuesday 19 November at St Lawrence Parish Hall. Doors open 7.pm for start time of 7.15 pm.
Entrance Fee £5 cash.
Would you like to wear a Christmas jumper?
In order to set up tables of 6 we would ask potential attendees to email us on jerseygardeningclub@gmail.com.
We will be providing a non-alcoholic festive drink and would encourage people to bring a small plate of snacks of choice, savoury or sweet, sufficient for 2/3 people if they feel inclined, so that each table has sustenance for the task ahead! There will be a few extra nibbles available for those unable to do so.
Jean-Pierre is our host quiz master for the evening who has kindly put together an entertaining mix of horticultural/Christmasy/Channel Islands questions.
There will be 2 rounds of questions to be completed by each team on paper provided, with a short break between. The papers will be swapped with the next-door table for marking at the end of each round.
We will finish with hot drinks and mince pies.
Prizes will be awarded for the winning team with an additional prize for the best Christmas jumper!
