CCA Galleries International is calling for visual artists to participate in the Jersey Summer Exhibition 2024, modelled on the annual Royal Academy Summer Show. The exhibited work is selected by a panel of professional artists and displayed for sale in a group exhibition. The Jersey Summer Exhibition is entering its eighth year and it remains the highlight event in the gallery’s calendar. It is an opportunity open to both emerging and established artists.
The gallery welcomes all forms of visual art, such as original prints, paintings, drawings, sculptures, films, and photography. CCAI is open to applications from artists who have connections to the island and are working elsewhere, as well as artists living and working in Jersey.
Artists across all mediums are encouraged to apply before the deadline on Sunday 7 April.
Rural Country Life Prize and Inspired by the Sea Award
Landscapes and seascapes that have been selected for the Jersey Summer Exhibition are also eligible for the RURAL Country Life Prize and Inspired by the Sea Award. In collaboration with RURAL Magazine, BCR Law, and National Trust for Jersey, we honor the beauty of Jersey’s landscape and seascape. This year marks the inaugural launch of two distinct prizes. The RURAL Country Life Prize will recognize artwork in any form, provided it draws inspiration from aspects of Jersey’s life such as landscapes, lanes, farming, food, animals, plants, or the natural environment. Meanwhile, the Inspired by the Sea award focuses solely on celebrating the beauty of seascapes.
The RURAL award is judged by David Benest (BCR Law), Donna Le Marrec (National Trust for Jersey), Alasdair Crosby (RURAL Magazine) and a member of CCA Galleries International team.
Date to be advised soon.
