WHAT A DIFFERENCE A YEAR MAKES….

Before July 2014:  Plemont with the derelict holiday camp

Plemont transformed: 30 June 2015

Pictures by Chris Brookes

IN July last year the States voted in favour of giving the National Trust a grant of £3.575m to help acquire the site at Plemont. Following that momentous decision the Trust completed the purchase of the site on the 25th July and started demolition in September with the majority of works being completed by the end of March 2015. The grass is now growing and the derelict holiday camp is a fading memory.
