Rural – Jersey Country Life Magazine

A COMPETITION WINNER WRITES…

From Bill O’Brien, winner of the last RURAL magazine competition:

‘Whilst reading a recent edition of Rural , I noticed that it contained a competition to win a £500 voucher to use at the Pet Cabin, provided by the Insurance Emporium. Some weeks later having submitted my entry, I was astonished when I received news that I was the winner.

‘I was fortunate to receive a rescued cat, Peggy from the JSPCA in 2017. She is an amputee and is restricted to remaining indoors. From the proceeds of the voucher, I have now been able to make a donation of cat food to that charity and also used part of it for a Raffle Prize for another charity, Diabetes Jersey, with which I am associated.

Oh, by the way, Peggy has a number of new activities to keep her occupied.’
