Applications are being invited for funding for projects that maintain or improve the Island’s unique rural character.
The Countryside Enhancement Scheme is an environmental improvement scheme open to the general public, schools and charities as well as farmers, growers, land managers and owners, businesses and Government departments.
The scheme, funded by the Government of Jersey, offers financial incentives to support and reward initiatives designed to look after Jersey’s countryside.
This may include enhancement or protection of wildlife, landscapes, historic features and natural resources, or opportunities for new public access to the countryside.
The aim is to help applicants in the delivery of environmental projects that help maintain the Island’s landscape, habitats, flora and fauna, and which enhance or conserve the natural environment or biodiversity.
Further information, guidance notes and an application form can be found here: Countryside Enhancement Scheme
The deadline for applications is 28 June.
