The next Moments Musicaux concert will take place on Friday 21 March at the Town Church, starting at 7pm: London Mozart Players Quartet performing Vivaldi’s Four Seasons. Pachelbel’s Canon, and Handel’s Concerto Grosso.
The ‘journey’ continues the theme of this season of concerts arranged by Moments Musicaux – and very apt in that Vivaldi’s music is definitely a journey through the seasons.
‘Moments Musicaux’ was founded by Christine Jasper in 2022 to promote professional classical music in the Island. As she says in her website: ‘We are inspired by bringing together an audience who loves classical music and sought-after internationally acclaimed artists as well as building new projects to create a one-of-a-kind concert experience.’
This year, she thought of having a ‘Musical Journeys’ theme – geographical journeys or journeys of personal development.
The following concert brings Gerard Le Feuvre in an evening of solo cello works. Timings are 7pm on 25 April at St Mark’s Church
