You will receive a very warm welcome from the Jersey Gardening Club when Don Witton presents a talk entitled ‘Unforgettable Garden Scenes.’ Don is a retired schoolteacher from Sheffield with a passion for growing perennials. He has been a garden lecturer, nurseryman and author for over 20 years and is the holder of a Plant Heritage National Collection of euphorbias. His talk will cover some special moments that he has encountered on his travels and plans to be a ‘colourful and entertaining talk that will last long in your memory’.
The Jersey Gardening Club meeting is at 7:30pm, Tuesday 18 June, at St Lawrence Parish Hall.
We have plant sales for new green companions (cash only) or simply enjoy a cuppa while catching up with like-minded friends.
First visit to a club night is FREE (£5 thereafter) Annual membership (£25 single / £36 joint) giving you free access to a whole year full of entertaining club nights with a wide variety of events and speakers.
