This year’s Sunset Concerts will be held at Grantez overlooking St Ouen’s Bay on Friday 14th and Saturday 15th June.
Ticket holders are invited to bring a picnic and enjoy watching the sun going down over the bay while listening to live music in the knowledge that all the concert proceeds will be going towards the National Trust for Jersey’s Coastline campaign.
On Friday Sydney Haskins, a young soprano singer who won the PwC Jersey Young Musician of the Year award in 2023, will be performing followed by The Dawberts, a guitar-based trio from Guernsey who sing modern country pop and put their spin onto modern songs. Finally, the well-known big band of 13 people, The Jersey Bounce, will encourage the crowd to party until sunset.
On Saturday it is the turn of Mêli-Mêlo, meaning ‘mish-mash’ in Jerriais, to entertain the crowds and then Jessica Lloyd Chays and her band will provide powerhouse vocals with pop covers to get the dance party started with an exciting, upbeat set guaranteed to keep the dance floor full for the evening.
